2003 Solent Motorcycle Club Rally.

Held at Fort Purbrook on Portsdown Hill, this years Solent Motorcycle Club Rally was the biggest yet with tickets sold out weeks before the event. Over 250 bikers attended and enjoyed a very sociable and almost rain free weekend. Fareham Lions provided the catering and raised over £1500 for our funds. Although a long and tiring weekend it proved very enjoyable and a great chance to meet many of the friends and faces from previous rallies, as well as many new ones. A good bar, Spike's infamous disco and tours of the fort all added to the enjoyment.

Saturday's home made curry proved as popular as ever and a new offering of chilli for the Friday night also sold out. Hot dogs, burgers, and egg and bacon rolls were provided throughout the day and a full english breakfast for the mornings. The home made bread pudding proved another huge success.
