2005 Brass Monkey bikers rally

Once again our first task in 2005 was providing the catering at the Solent Motorcycle Club's, Brass Monkey Bikers Rally in Hurn, Bournemouth.

Although a quieter weekend than last year it still proved very enjoyable, we even managed a couple of hours off Saturday afternoon, so a trip to the pub provided a very welcome and enjoyable break from the van. The event provided great entertainment, great company, great beer and even the food wasn't bad!! A new offering of pasta bolognaise replaced the curry on Friday night but seemed to be just as popular. Saturday's curry and chips was also as popular as ever and provided a welcome warmth to the dark evenings. A full english breakfast for the cold mornings was provided and the usual Hot dogs, burgers and bacon rolls were served throughout the day.
