    Fareham Lions Club
    2005 Paultons Park Visit
Our deserving guests and members from Fareham joined the other Lions clubs from the South for our annual Paultons Park visit. Reports by some of our guests. (much more interesting then mine - ed).
When we arrived we waited by the tent and waited in the queue. I heard someone calling my name. I looked round it was Sam. When we got our tickets we went and looked at the big peacock with it's feathers out. I tried to look at it's face but it just turned away. We went on the dragon ride that goes round in circles backwards and forwards. Then we went on the sloppy slide and went down about 2 times. Then after that we went through dinosaur land. We looked at the dinosaurs. Some were big, some were small. Then I went on the jumping bean. IT's a ride where you have a safety bar that goes over your shoulders and over your chest. I went on it about 3 times! It made me feel as if I left my belly at the top. Andrew and Leanna went on it too. Then we went on the wave surfer. It's a slide with a little bit of water and you go down in a dingy. There are two slopes. One dinghy does a jump and the other a little jump. After that we went to the car to get our lunch. We had our lunch when we went to see the penguins being fed at twelve o'clock. Then we went on the little train that goes past a lake and a little field with geese in. They quacked at us. When we got off it started spitting. Next second it was chucking it down. We ran under the trees. We went on the teacups when it stopped. Then we got ready to leave because it wouldn't stop raining after we went on the teacupos. I would like to thank you so much for the free tickets. - Kieran.
I am writing to say a big thank you for letting me and my family go to Paultons Oark on Sunday. We really enjoyed ourselves! It was such a fun day going on some new rides! The best ride was the Jumping Bean! The weather was nice but suddenly it rained and we got even more wet! Thanks again. - Sarah.
Thank you for the trip to Paultons Park it was really good and lots of fun but my mum was a bit scared on the Jumping Jack! - Sam
